Among the notable contributors to this achievement are the company’s shipbuilding project for Tsuneishi Heavy Industries in Balamban, Cebu, which recorded 10.8 million safe man-hours, and the maintenance project for Taganito HPAL Nickel Corporation in Claver, Surigao del Norte, which accounted for 3.2 million safe man-hours.

Additionally, the completed design and construction of five warehouses for Fast Logistics in Consolacion, Cebu, contributed 1 million safe man-hours, while the site development projects for Lima Land, Inc. (Zone 2) in Batangas and the future TARI Estate in Tarlac City added 1.2 million and nearly 800,000, respectively.

The milestone underscores the company’s dedication to ensuring the well-being of its over 4,000 team members engaged in various project sites. Aboitiz Construction implements rigorous safety protocols, including regular safety training, strict compliance with industry standards, and the use of advanced safety equipment to prevent workplace incidents.

“This achievement reflects our strong commitment to upholding a culture of safety in every aspect of our operations. At Aboitiz Construction, we prioritize the well-being of our people by maintaining high safety standards and fostering a work environment that minimizes risks. We will continue to uphold our commitment to ensuring a safe workplace for all,” said Ramez Sidhom, Chief Operating Officer of Aboitiz Construction.

This accomplishment reinforces Aboitiz Construction’s ongoing efforts to integrate safety excellence into its operations while delivering quality projects that contribute to the growth of industries and communities.
