Held on August 7, 2023, Monday, at the Oakridge Horizon, Oakridge Business Park in Mandaue City, MCCI members were able to interact with each other for discussions on how they could help each other’s business.

Ms. Marvey Alcantara, Uratex director for Vismin and co-chair of Business Connect, explains that the chamber would like to connect members so they could get their requirements for services and products from within the chamber.

“Networking is one of the activities requested by members. MCCI members come from diverse industries,” Ms. Alcantara said. She added that there are advantages to having a collaborative environment, supportive of each others’ activities.

“MCCI has very diverse industries. There’s a business provider within Mandaue chamber we really like to connect and match businesses,” Ms. Alcantara said.

Ms. Mae Ann Yee, Creative Director of Purple Chalk and co-chair of the event, said the event would enable business owners and executives to talk among themselves and discuss business solution goals.

According to Ms. Yee, they have come up with a color coding process for matching of member companies based on their requirements.

She then encouraged companies to register so the chamber would be able to identify who will be going and suggest companies that would match their requirements.

Aside from the business matching activity, MCCI will induct 24 new members.

The new members include ORIX METRO Leasing & Finance Corporation, Scrumptious Food and Beverage Corp, LANEX Corporation – Philippine Branch, Camotes Agribusiness Products, Otway Enterprises, KUNSTOF Windows & Doors, Cebu Parts Mall Auto and Industrial Sales, Boombox Marketing Office, Sphil Tele IT Experts Inc., Gem Travels, Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc., Fast Autoworld Philippines Corporation, Aboitiz Power,  COREnergy Inc., CONVEYING AND PACKAGING CO. INC., Homemaker Furniture Corporation, Ramon F. Garcia & Company, CPAs, WRCMAC Realty Corporation, GHY Trading Solutions Inc., ACE 1 IT Solutions Inc., Glynis Entertainment Services, Ynoc Prime Land Corp, Freeman, and Wall Street Courier Services Inc, (Ninja Van Philippines).

Ms. Alcantara also urged non-members to join MCCI so they could also avail of various chamber activities such as networking events, seminars, workshops, and learning sessions.
