The training is one of the highlights of the Mandaue Business Month 2024, MCCI’s annual month-long flagship program that carries the theme “Future Unleashed: Seize the Chance.” The MBM 2024 is chaired by Mr. Walter Ong and co-chaired by Ms. Marvey Alcantara.
According to MCCI and CCIP, the training program features interactive sessions designed to ensure that the participants understand their responsibility of ensuring that the products they are selling are safe, effective, and of consistently high quality. Participants will also be updated on the requirements and changes in the laws and regulations related to the cGMPs.
“This event is tailored for industry professionals dedicated to upholding the highest quality standards in production control,” said Mary Anne Rose Dakay, MCCI trustee and event chair of the training and workshop. She is supported by MCCI trustee and event co-chair Angelo Jose Gandionco.
The resource speakers of the training program include Grace S. Domingo, CCIP GMP expert and the technical director of Regitech Consulting & Services; Therese Antoniette Villamor Cuyos, a food and drug regulation officer, a cosmetic technical manager, and the OIC regional supervisor of the Food and Drug Administration Region VII; and Grace Gambong Cardona, a licensing officer with the Food and Drug Administration Region VII.
Their topics will revolve around 13 cGMP modules; product recall and PMS processes; and licensing processes.
The registration fee for the two-day training program is ₱3,500 for members of the MCCI and CCIP and ₱4,000 for non-members. The two-day event will include snacks and lunch. A GMP certificate will be given upon completion of the training and workshop.
